I was wondering about that myself. The dealer said they were going to have different mirrors for 07.

Well I had mirrors described as new versions on my June 06 S3. They do seem to give pretty good views of the road behind.

From what I understand the 06 mirrors are wider than the 05 mirrors, but at £60 a pop I think I'll go for the extenders at £25 a pair!

They changed the mirrors between my dear departed April 06 and my new July vintage 06. They are a different shape and the stalks extend farther to the sides. The original set was useless, all I could see was my elbows. I replaced them with Rizoma reverse bar end mirrorss. The new ones look better and actually work. I already had mirrors on order but cancelled when I took my first ride .

Not the best view, but you get an idea.
