Thats Great! I didn't expect such a quick response!! So wed. sept 27th is the day!

kuhlka, what will you be riding sv or triple? or both? my brother in law will be there as well on his done up TL1000r.

and for the Novice class all you need is a full suite leather or textile gloves and boots...Don't have to worry about coolant. strip your bike of mirrors and liscense plates and tape up the plastic and headlights.

we rented a garage for the day you all are welcome to come by it's garage # 20 close to where the classes and check in will be...

Come on anyone else... Cheapster it's not that far of a drive bring that yeller thing up here.

I'll be riding the triple. Dad's SV1000 is all stripped buck naked slowly getting turned into some kind of frankenstein Bonneville-esque thing. Its his semi-dead pet project.

I'll be bringing a full zip leather suit and Sidi Vertebra Tepor boots. Do we need full gauntlet gloves or will standard padded leather gloves work? I run Engine Ice so coolant wouldn't be an issue anyway. Bar-end mirrors come off easily enough, but do I need to leave the bar-ends on? I'll be bringing a roll of wide blue painter's tape to tape everything up, or just remove my headlights altogether when I get there. BIG question, will we need to safety-wire everything? I haven't done this yet and would prefer not to, but I will if I have to...

If you'll let me squeeze into the garage I'd greatly appreciate it. I'll probably be riding the bike down EARLY in the AM, rest a bit then get cracking. I'll be bringing my basic tool kit with everything I'd possibly need to disassemble my bike minus the torque wrench. I'll probably buy a set of tires the week before and break them in on the way down.
