Hello everyone,
It's been a long since I came here. The last time it was to ask few questions about the Zard Exhaust.

In the mean time, I did order the Zard and installed it. Nothing special to say, it just looks amazing :-D . And the install was very easy: it took me about 1 hour to do it.

Here's a two pictures I took during a short ride around Nice (France / Côte d'Azur).

It was a short ride (about 100Km) so I didn't have too much time to take pictures (in fact, I didn't want to stop every 10 minutes). Next time, I'll try to take more pictures

... now, regarding the Rear Hugger ...

Since I installed the Zard, the rear is much more . But I noticed a lot of dirt around the rear shock. It's not looking too good. I was thinking about installing a rear hugger. I found this interesting item on eBay: Rear Hugger

- Is there anything special to check before installing ? Tire size ? Space left between the hugger and the exhaust ?
- How do you install the rear hugger ? There is some kind of stainless plate where, I suppose, it attach. But there is no screw to remove that plate to fix the hugger. Maybe I haven't check carefully, but I didn't see any screws to remove that 'plate'.
- Stupid question  : Is the rear hugger really effective ? Does it prevent the dirt to reach the rear shock and the surrounding area ?
- Any suggestions is welcomed :-)

Thank you.

Yes that hugger should easily fit the 2005/06 S3, but I think it will look ugly as you will have to retain the stock chain guard which is plastic and contrasts badly with the Carbon fibre.
Fitting will be easy and self explanatory.
It will help a bit protecting the shock.

It will fit. It's exactly the same as the stock one... There is one out there that has the chain guard and hugger as one. It is on ebay...

I personally don't think it would look too bad with the stock chain guard. I'd have to see it...
