Yup, I took the plunge and bought a new blue '06 speed triple!

It's good to be back on a Triumph!

hey man, glad to see ya made the purchase!!! :wink: You're only a hop, skip, and a jump away from me, we oughta ride sometime! I believe Hickory is about a hour and a half from me. I live in King about 15 mins from Winston-Salem. Anyways, a few of us are planning on getting together at the end of next month, post up and let us know if ya can! :-D

I agree, I really want to see what this thing will do at 9 or 10 K.

I used to live in Hickory, I liked it there but Corning decided to move my job to Mexico.

What does the first service include? Is it just basically an oil change? I don't really have a dealer close to me and I don't have a problem doing an oil change.

Some of the later posts mention starting at morganton. I'm not really sure, it's mostly being organized on Road Rash Sucks

First service is an oil/filter change, chain adjustment, once over for loose bolts/nuts. Also they will remove any slop from your clutch/throttle. I f you think about it, see if you can get a magnetic drain plug.
