Hmm... but her body gets the sheep's head. Makes a funny noise when ya pinch her. Don't ask how I knows this.
As for the 'spearmint itself, I am reminded of the old saw: "The operation was a success, but the patient died.
Lessons learnt?
The metalcast works as advertised, but it is VERY finicky. Of the four parts, only one came out right on my first shot. One of the radiator shrouds looked very nice, a dead ringer for anodized aluminum. Of the others, I put too heavy a coat on two of 'em and they were just blue, while the third showed its imperfections.
Basically, it's a tinted clearcoat, so you have to be very careful to keep the spray the same distance all the way across the part or you get dark spots. As with everything, several light coats works best. Being a tint, it seemed to magnify slight differences in color so even if you are careful, you still end up with a weird cast to it.
If I was doing it over again, I'd use a base coat of silver to get it even. Of course, that would have meant stripping it all down and starting over again, which would have been worth it except...
The anodized blue color just does not go well. I like it on the rim stripes, I like the blue suspension adjustment gizmos on the forks, and even the blue on the rear shock spring, but even the radiator shroud that turned out nice looked outta place, so...
They all git stripped and it's back to black. Seven bucks, a couple o' hours, not a bad way to spend an afternoon.
