Can anyone tell me where the sensor is for the speedo ? I have a speedo recalibrator from these people, http://www.blackrobotics.com/index.htm and need to splice into the cables. Pics would be great as well!

Unfortunately, I don't intend to be doing anything with a tuneboy. Then again, when I got the bike I was going to keep it completely standard..I just can't help spending money on it!...oopppsss! :-D

True,

You have to slit the vinyl case the 3 wire harness is in. The pink lead is the speedo feed and if I'm remembering correctly, you can tap power off the orange and ground off the black there. It's posted somewhere in another thread, try a search to verify my memory.

Thanks Iromoda, You are spot on with the wiring. Still haven't got the box from black robotics. I changed the gearing to 17/44. Had a good look along the chain with someone sitting on the bike. It looks like the chain will almost always be rubbing the rubber swingarm protector. Don't like that! Have now put the 18t back on and stuck with the 44t rear. Looks like that's as big as I can go on the rear without adding links to the chain. Not quite as snappy, but still a helluva lot of fun!!
