only i could create a thread such as this. bring it on big mama!

all jokes aside, what is your favorite drink?

cocktail, it has to be a crown and coke with a wedge of lime. however just recently i have been getting hooked on crown and 7up with a wedge of lime.

beer, a nice cold shiner hefeweizen with a wedge of lemon. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!@#$$

Actually, you're not the first to start a favorite drink thread.

Favourite cocktail is definitely Mojito. Girly, but f*cken awesome. Redbull vodka comes second.

But I do love good beer. Mostly lager and any lager.

Oh, and my favorite drink is bourbon---preferably George T. Stagg---neat.

My favorite cocktail is a gin martini---preferably with Old Raj gin and Vaya vermouth---up, with an olive.

I don't drink anymore, but I don't drink any less either.

Martinis. Real ones with gin and a little muddy with garlic stuffed olives. Also big red wines: cabernet, petit syrah, zinfandel, just don't give me any of that ***** merlot! I used to drink a lot of beer, I prefer the really hoppy ales like Anchor Liberty Ale.

Cocktails are for weenies. Whiskey straight, no rocks. Or REAL tequila (100% blue agave, preferably anejo, Chinaco is best, Patron will do).

Beer is Maudite or Fin du Monde from Unibroue in Quebec (if you haven't tried it, get thee to a good beer store), though Guinness, Taddy porter, or anything good from Germany may suffice.

Gig drinks - whiskey from the flask (usually Crown, it's what the Redhead prefers) and free Bud Light from the bar. I will also drink whatever the patrons happen to buy for the band, which has led to some interesting moments.

One point of clarification: all bourobn is "single malt," which is why you never hear that expression applied to bourbon. What make's Booker's and my favorite---George T. Stagg--- special is that they are cask stength and unfiltered.

Vodka- Grey Goose dirty martini, or rocks with soda & lime.

Bourbon - Knob Creek, rocks with a splash of soda.

Tequila - Patron, shot or Top Shelf Margarita with Grand Marinier

Dark Beer - Guiness

Brown Ale - Newcastle

Light - Pilsner Urquell

Red Wine - Saintsbury Pinot Noir

Champagne - Veuve

I dig a chilled Italian Pinot Grigio as well in the warmer months.

Basically, anything that makes me slide the rear!
