Ok cause of you guys I have now determined that my tires are junk! now I know what to look for, I have a flat spot all the way around the rear. I fall into corners at speed instead of rolling into them....nice! ok so now I know! Please give me the ultamate size I can go for the best buck! I have looked tell I am blue in the face and now head is starting to hurt. Anyone? sean....p.s. have mich stockers now! got 5500 miles on them.

Orca, it's really hard to beat the Michelins for a street tire, but hard to pass up a deal like this on basically a track tire...

Deal on Pirelli Diablo Corsa III's!

Yeah those Michelin Stockers you mentioned are Pilot Powers and are one of the best performance street tires on the market. At 5500 miles it prob. is time for a new set. Sticky street tires generally have a life of about 3k-4k miles, depending on riding style.

You could try a different set at each change till you find the one you like best. I love the Michelins but wanna turn on the new Metzler M3 next. The Pirelli Corsa III is a deal that I'm prob gonna take as well (thanks to CB) but those tires won't last quite as long.

If you want extended mileage and/or do a lot of straight line or highway driving you could go with a Sport Touring tire. Good ST tires handle suprisingly better that most give them credit for and last a lot longer.

As for Size, stick with OE sizes.
120/70ZR17 front
180/55ZR17 rear

I think I'm gonna try the Continental Road Attack next time, only getting 2500 mi out the Pilot rear. Stick with the stock size.

Sportec M3's get my vote over the Mich's due to tire profile and tire heights...

Don't alter the stock size... 190's would be funky in the rear...

5500 miles on a set of Pilots :wow: I get about 2700 miles and they are junk. I am on my third set and I am hoping to make them last till the end of the season.
