Engine Swap?

I hope Stonetriple doesnt mind me using his picture but, would a 1050 motor swap be possible if all the mounting points are the same?? All the power of the new triple, with the curves of the t509....... Just dreaming. :razz:

I don't see why not. The 1050 is essentially the same as the 955i, and presumably the same as the T509 885.

The Fuel Injection is considerably different, but I suppose you could cobble them together and use Tuneboy to make it work.

Anyone disagree?

I think Racecomp has verified that you can swap the 1050 motor into the 97-06 955i daytona and 98-04 speed triple...
