Got myself straightened out with T-rat so i can post again, thanks to cheap. Thanks bra. Was thinking bout the time in Cali when i was in the navy. Was on my V-4 interceptor (?) going down I-5 to see a girlie in Fresno. This was in 83 and helmets did'nt have vents then. My helmet was black and it was like 100 degrees. Cant remember if i fell asleep or passed out but i came to (woke up ) just as i was about to get offroad. I will never buy a black helmet again. So this year when i picked up the beast i bought a helmet at the same time. I bought an Aria profile in silver. I like it, its comfortable and well ventilated. So, what helmet are you sporting, what do you like or dislike abou it? Itchin.

I use Schubert S1. A great helmet with built in sun visor, which is the greatest thing ever. You can make the sun visor come down by moving this little switch on the side of the helmet. I can't understand why other helmet manufacturers don't use similar systems.

The helmet is slightly too small which inhibits the airflow inside the helmet. But that's my mistake.

Arai Corsair. Great ventilation, easy visor replacement, a bit noisy. Visors are real pricey. I heard Shoei have spoiler-type thingies that cut the wind better, but I haven't tried them. I wanted to try the X-11, but there were none in stock when I was ready to buy. Oh well. I am happy anyway.

AGV Demon V Top Vent. It's OK, but I like my son's KBC ForceRR better. I have an old black AGV Ghost for winter use. Tried a friends Shoei X-11, nice lid!

Shoei X-11. I also have an Arai RX-7 and an AGV X-Vent, but these two never get worn, as I like the Shoei so much.

I just bought a Caberg helmet (Italian, don't ask me were they came up with Caberg). It has the interior slide down tinted visior. Which a agree with Premier it's a great feature.

The airflow is good but the deciables could be reduced some for me. It's EU rated with DOT. It's very light and cut high in the back so it makes looking back easier.

SO far good purchase.

I just got an Arai RX-7...in black. I love it. I just got back into motorcycling after an 11 year absence. The RX-7 fits very well, is very comfortable and has lots of vents. I prefer black and don't think it's any hotter than any other color.
