I just took off the Mickey Mouse ears but I want to remove the the threaded fitting but I can't tell if it can be removed I tried to remove one but it didn't move right away so I figured I would ask before I break something. Quick anwser before my beer break is over.

If you have the allen screws out, slip a fine screw driver in the slot and pop it off.
The left side you can flip, The right side you need a bolt.

I found the right size and thread, then I hack sawed it to length, Then cleaned and painted.

Done! I also removed the rear sets. The bike is starting to look more Holligan! Intagrated tail light arriving soon so I can get ride of that dumb ass rear mud flap. Back to drinking***** it is Friday night and my helmet is put away. But then again nothing better than spending a Friday night drinking beer and wrenching on a motorcycle with friends.
