i made this stand back home in illinois for $0. it is 1 3/4" .095 roll cage tubing with steel wheels from some old cart casters. i machined the adapters for the wheels/bolts out of steel round stock and welded them into the lower. the hub peice is a large bolt that fits the hub perfectly. the lever bar is 22", upright is13", cross is 13". pics are coming soon.
this stand is very stout compared to the ones you can buy.

just some ideas for peeps that want to save some money.

i don't think i would be able to market it. i live in VA and the race shop is in IL. mind you, this is a stock car shop (used to race roundy round)

if you want to save money, go to your local steel supply and tell them what you need. you could probably get some s***** tubing for next to nothing. you wouldn't really need to machine adapters for the wheels. just weld in a smaller peice of pipe and then weld in nuts according to the size of the bolts/ holes on the wheels.

you can find the steel wheeled casters at hardware stores. i didn't want to use plastic, too flimsy. questions e- mail me :hammer:
