Tek, you disappoint me. I thought a guy like you would have a hard time keeping the revs DOWN. If grandma wanted a safe hooligan bike she woulda got an R1, right?

Well, atleast you've seen the light. :chug:

Oh, and comming from an old dirt demon, quit watching the tach. LISTEN to the bike, FEEL it. Fu*kin' Yoda style, man. You can't see what turn you're gonna shred if you're lookin at the tach. Eyes on the road, man. Ride the bike don't use it.

:wow: :wow: are my eyes deceiving me? I can't believe what I am reading!!! Tek, glad to hear you're finding the true side of ol' speedy. As I've said before, you thought you were in love with the bike before, wait til you get used to revving her a little more! :-D

Yeah, Tekmoe, on your next ride keep at 4,000 and up. See how you like. It. You will not hurt it. Just give it a try.

Plugs can't foul at less than 5k.

They likely won't foul in the traditional sense, but they will foul from water corrosion. Take my word for it, I've been there. Take care washing it. The only water that hits my engine is wiped on, never sprayed.

Dude, I was slapping the $hit out of the revlimiter on wheelies after 3,000 miles and my bike still runs great after 15,000. Don't worry about it. Worry about road conditions, cagers, and police, not hurting a Speed Triple. The motor was designed to be bulletproof.

Plumbers butt sticking out of a pair of cut-off carharts and a thong, with beer belly bouncing to the beat of some really bad house music? A wet t-shirt contest to show off his manboobs?

Now there's a visual I didn't need.
