OK, fellas, cheapo has set the dates for the east coast ride, so I'm setting the date for the west coast ride: Sunday, October 1.

Let's hear it . . . who's in?

This ride is two weeks away. Let's meet at the Shell station at the Suisun Valley Rd exit from Hwy 80, in Cordelia, at 8:00. We'll depart at 8:15 sharp.

So far, I see the following participants:
Curmudgeon
DEcosse (maybe)
zooplancton
Calitriple

I hope we get more of the local guys out! Please reply to this thread if you're coming.

The following map shows our route. I'm sorry the highlighting is a little faint; when we ride these roads, I think I will be forgiven!

I'm in. I may have to cancel, though. My kid is supposed to be carved out of my ol' lady on the 2nd. I also need a bit more detail on wear we're meeting. I thought it was fairfield....oh well. Any hoo, I'd love to ride the day before my kid comes. It would be a good tension release. Pm me with more details, please

Cordelia is a very small town very near Fairfield. If you click on "Shell station," in my previous post, you'll find a Google map to it.

Update: I uploaded an easier to read map.

I'd like to get an idea who's coming. Based on the most recent responses, I see:

Curmudgeon
Calitriple (maybe)

Anyone else? :???:

The bike is pretty much done except for top triple - I can ride it but no instruments mounted, so wouldn't want to stray far from the neighborhood like that.
If I get the new TT this week, I'm in - so still a 'maybe' but a 'wannabe' unfortunately.

Well, I'm glad to see DEcosse and zooplancton might make it!

Decosse, you don't need instruments to ride with us. I really want to see your bike after all your modifications!

Zoo, I have much easier to read paper maps that I was going to distribute to participants on the day of the ride. Will that give you what you need to program it in your GPS? EDIT: If you'd like to program it in advance of the ride, I can email you a high-res version of the above map.

I'm game. So just meet and head out with whoever is there at 8:15?

I saw a guy on a pre-05 triple yesterday on 101 that took either the Hillsdale or 92 exit. White/Blue leathers...one of you guys?

I was hte black 06 behind you..

Welcome m970456!

Yes, I'd like to head out with whoever is there at 8:15, but it would be nice if those who are planning on attending confirmed on this thread by Saturday. We could wait a few minutes for a confirmed rider who's running late.
