Can anyone do me a step-by-step guide to this on my '05 1050? - I need to get at the TBs to fit a Scottoiler.

Thanks

You need to remove 2 hoses from underneath the tank b4 you start. They are towards the rear left hand side. The outer one is the fuel overflow and the other is the fuel vent line (has a valve on it).
If you try to pull up the tank they might come out with the tank and could be a problem re-routing the pipes.
Undo and remove the two screws holding the side panel.
Remove seat
Undo (no need to remove, it's a pig to put back on) the front allen screw. Undo and remove the rear tank bolt. Lift and hold tank and unclip fuel coupling and the electrical socket. Remove tank to rear
Put tank aside.
Remove three (one front two rear) breather pipes from airbox. Unclip electrical connectors and remove airbox top cover. (you can remove airbox without taking off top cover but getting airbox back on will be a bit ch.
Undo two bolts at rear bottom of airbox and lift rear of airbox such that rubber trumpets are clear of throttle bodies and pull airbox towards rear.
You have access to the vacuum feed on the throttle bodies.
Now go here

Scott Oiler fitting instructions for S3 1050

I have a dual injector on mine, installation is neater. Notice the extra bolt on the front holding the dual injector.

Refitting is a reversal. I little soap on the rubber trumpets makes 'em seat easier on the throttle bodies. And make sure they are seated properly before fitting the airbox lid.
