I had to drivers' tests today. One for cars and another one for bikes. I totally 0wn3d the car part and the handling test on the bike, but failed the driving in traffic part. So now I can legally drive a car, but not a bike. That kinda sucks, because I don't even own a car. I own a bike though  Well, I have a second try on friday.
The bike was still registered today and I got a garage space for it so I didn't want to keep standing alone in the store anymore. I called my friend with a driver's license and we went to take the triple home. Obviously, as gay as it is, my friend drove the bike and I the passenger seat.
Now I've heard all kinds of whining about the passenger seat on triple. Good for blond midgets with big ****, eh? Well, I'm blond, but my **** ain't big and I'm tallish (182cm) and still I had no problem sitting on the passenger seat. Sure, it might not be good for touring and such, but that's not triple's cup of tea anyway. So what's going on? Are the girls just being pussies?

Thanks, Limey
Two guys at the store kept warning me and my friend about how "hasty" the triple is I told them that I'm very aware of that
They actually brought up L4TUA's case as an example of how I should be careful (It's the same dealer)

I didn't drive my triple on the test. I drove the driving school's Honda CBF500. Very easy bike.
Another cool anecdote about triple coming home. The garage is all new to me, I've never even been inside before. We drove the triple in the parking grid and when we stopped I noticed there was a Triumph Bonneville next to it. The two coolest bikes in the garage next to each other! :chug: I'll go take a pic after I finish my beer.

In Finland, if you get your license when you're under 21, you can only drive bikes with <25kW power. When you turn 21, you'll need to take a separate handling test with >35kW bike. After that anything goes. But for example if you get your license when you turn 18, you'll be forced to drive <25kW bike for 3 years :P
If you get the license after turning 21 (like me, I'm 24), you'll do all the tests right away and you can drive any bike you want. :-D
And the fun part is that the old geezers who got their car drivers' licenses before 1993 or something, can drive any bike they want even, if they've never had any kind of instuction to drive a bike. They didn't even have to do any test for it :-D That's F'n scary.
