Hi guys, what are you getting for mileage before the low fuel light comes on? Today I got a whooping 80 miles on it before the light came on. The previous week I got about 110.

***?

Are you guys getting as crappy mileage as me?

I havent actually tried to see how far I can go with the low fuel light on, but there doesn't seem to be much fuel left in the tank at all. I also fill it up right to the top everytime. (or almost to the top.)

approximately 125-130 miles from fill til light goes on. riding fairly aggressively (avg range 80-140+ hittin high rpm's) but mostly on freeway straights (occasional traffic in which speed dropped significantly). these number come from a 500 mile trip (250ish each way).

Uh... riding in CIRCLES does not count as turns, dude.

Usually 110 or so of in-town riding before the light comes on. More if I'm doing highway miles.

About 110 miles to light and then 30 - 40 miles with crossed fingers / toes and anything else that is available. This varied considerably though on recent Europe road trip (mostly autoroutes / autobahns) - noticed soot on Lid after prolonged straight line riding also!! (Has been remapped but must be running rich)

Same here. Usually 110 city, 140 highway plus another 10-15 if I put her on the centerstand when I fill up. But my last tank only got me 95 miles in the city.

I think it's because of the heat. The energy content of gasoline is based on mass, but it's sold and stored volumetrically. So essentially, there's less gas in your gallon these days. I expect it'll go back to normal this fall.
