well just picked up the sickle from the dealer for first service ,

had the throttle adjusted and made the requisite brake complaint ,

well the mechanic did the caliper push back trick , they acknowledge the issue and have put in a warranty claim to replace my brakes with a
complete set off of a 675 with longer lines , have to wait and see

but the most interesting was that the map in the bike was a detunned break in map , never would have thought it could get more powerful , faster , scarier , but with the new map the smiles per gallon went up considerably :-D :-D

i did not think to ask the number of the tune though .

This known brake issue I haven't experienced yet. I've only got 1300 miles on it, when did you first notice it? That is very interesting your bike was detuned out of the factory? Did it by chance do a lot of popping on downshifting? I wish I could afford to get a new exhaust and tune but alas I'm broke.

tune was free , as i understand it it is sort of a break in tune , i
thought it was running a bit rich , the brake issue is that the more and harder you use the brakes the lees lever feel you get , push your pistons back in and you will notice a much firmer feel to the lever

I took mine in for the 500 mile service today. I put the TORs on yesterday, and asked them to give me the TOR tune. We'll see what it is like tomorrow.

Took about 1500 miles before I started noticing The Brake Thing. Mentioned it to the dealer and got a blank stare. Easier just to squeeze 'em wit a pair of pliers every once in a while.
