I have a '95 900 S3 (T3/carbs model). Any reason why a tach unit from a later, fuel-injected S3 (509 or 595) wouldn't work as a replacement for mine? I don't want to pay $275 for a NOS replacement from Triumph, but I can't seem to find a used 94-96 S3 tach anywhere. Thought maybe I could broaden my search to the next two versions of the S3. Any insight would be appreciated.
