I've checked some other posts, and it looks like the older models are 17mm. The '06 looks like a 21 or 22mm. Can anybody confirm this?

Thanks.

yup it's a 22 and/or you can do what I did and get a standard bolt with 2 nuts that are 7/8 od and lock the 2 nuts together at the bottom of the bolt and use that.

Or find a 3/8" drive spark plug socket with 7/8" flats at the top to use with an open-ended wrench. Insert the top end of the socket into the axle and use a 3/8" extension bar backwards (inside the socket) on a 3/8" ratchet to turn the axle loose. The nice thing is this allows you to put a 3/8" drive torque wrench on it when you're reinstalling the axle.

I bought the Motion Pro multi-tool. It has a 17, 19, 22 and 24mm built into one slick unit.
