Love my Triple but having difficulty finding a fuel map that works well with my D&D pipe and the Texas weather. Any body know a good one or at least some other options I have not explored? Have Tuneboy and will fiddle!

Have you tried Triumph's general "high performance" map? When I took my bike in to get a remap for my Trident exhaust the mechanics/techs told me that Triumph's general remap for aftermarket exhausts usually works best.

Now, I don't know if that is true or not but I CAN tell you that it seemed to work pretty well for my bike.

They told me that, on occasion, they'll get a bike in with a Power Commander that doesn't seem to be running optimally. They said that when they take the PC off and use the Triumph remap that the customer always seems more satisfied.

I don't know Jack about remapping and so on... I'm just relaying what they told me. And again, my bike runs great.

So, is it true that Triumph is one of the few manufacturers that makes different tuning maps available to customers?

I would agree, I ran the TORS map with my ZARD full system with no problems.. probably not making peak power but it runs fine..

The Triumph tune works great while running.

They need to address the starting end of the tune, the TPS or something needs an adjustment, Some are considering a TuneBoy ( like myself ) Just to get the bike to start easier.
