Seiously, if all is well, should I even bother with it. Or should I do it just to have it documented incase I take it in later and need warranty work done. Seems more like a formality than a necessity. My bike runs fine and I've gone over all the fasteners and checked fluids and changed the oil and filter. What are your thoughts.

Worth it to keep the warranty valid IMO. Annoying but maybe worthwhile 18 months down the road....

If you did what you said you did, H3ll no! Don't waste your money. I think your warranty is fine so long as you keep your receipts.

I believe it is part of the Magnuson Moss Warranty act. No dealer can require they do the maintenance to keep a warranty valid unless they will do the maintenance at no cost. If you do your own maintenance, just keep your receipts for parts. If there is a failure and they feel it is something you did, whether it is your aftermarket exhaust, or you doing your own maintenance, they have to prove that your modification or service work directly led to the failure to be able to deny a warranty claim.

Nuts and bolts. Perhaps you should take your bike to the dealer for service, tekmoe.

Tek can have a beer while waitin' for 'em to check the fasteners.

Oh... that was just TOO easy.
