So I am about to go on a great ride in the mountains here in CO, had a good early morning breakfast at our usual spot, and I dumped my 3 while turning at 2 mph on a rock in the parking lot, that I was trying to avoid.

So never mind the embarrassment of dumping my bike in front of the folks eating outside! I broke the signal lense and the worst part was my clutch lever!

I can't find a replacement via any website and I don't feel like purchasing a 175.00+ lever set. Does anybody know where to get a stock replacement clutch lever, besides a dealer that will charge too much?

Dumping a bike for something so stupid sucks!!!!

I broke my brake lever almost the exact same way.

I took the lever off and went to Cycle Gear with the part and matched it up to an aftermarket part, I think it was a CBR lever, After making sure I could bring it back if it didn't work, I put it on and it worked perfect!

There is very little difference in the look. and it is still adjustable.
Total cost: $25.

Maybe you can get as lucky with a clutch lever.

If not, Pazzo shorties are great and won't hit the ground as easy.

Thanks, man! I'll check it out. Are clutch levers designed to snap like that? I noticed a notch about 2 inches from the end, but no where else on the lever.

Yes, They are ment to snap at the notch, My Ktm brake lever busted at the notch also, but I just filed and sanded it smooth and kept it as a shorty.

.

Dropped my Triple in the garage, and broke the front brake lever off at the notch. As the Hairball said, it works well as a shorty. I don't have a showbike, anyhoo...

I have the notch on my DPM levers. When it snaps there, it allows the rider to continue the race or ride.
