If your up in or near New England the last weekend of July...

Here is an update from the organizers at (Maine European Motorcycle Enthusiasts) MEME as it pertains to the 7th Annual Western Maine European Motorcycle Meet...sorry about
another post on this but this update has much more detail. It looks
like Dave Percival's BMW museum is going to be open this year!....If you have never seen this....holy*****....Nice!

read on...

Folks,

If I've already sent this to you, I'm sorry for doubling up. (but
this one
has the date and reservation number which the other one did not.)

Here's the low down for the 7th annual Western Maine European
Motorcycle
Meet. This year's sponsors are the usual suspects, Street Cycles, Moto
Milano, Great Bay Motorcycles and Whitehorse Press, being joined by
newcomers Seacoast Sport Cycles and V T Cycles. Without these folks I
couldn't do this so please support them.

As we did last year, we'll be collecting a $5 entry fee for the
weekend.
This will go to MEME to help with future events and to the National
Marfan
Foundation to further Marfan research.

The Luau on Saturday evening will also help the NMF as $5 from each
plate
will be donated. Cost of the Luau is $30++ (which I believe works out
to
$32) Please remember that last year WE SOLD OUT THE ROOM. Call the
reservation line and make sure you have a seat for it. We have grown
our
little event enough that we just can't guess on the "numbers"
anymore. I
want to make sure everyone gets fed and has a place to sit for the
Luau and
the trivia/ prize giveaways. We will also draw the Saturday 50/50
raffle
during the festivities.

Schedule for the weekend is as follows: (Dates are July 28,29,30 2006)

Friday the 28th,

Meet and Greet 6:00pm-1:00am

Dinner Buffet 6:00pm-9:00pm

(Sandwiches available in case you miss the buffet)

Saturday the 29th,

Breakfast available at Northern Lights from 7:00am-10:30am

Rides throughout the day including,

Vintage Tour (leaving the Jordan parking lot at noon)

Self guided Adventure Tours (maps available under the blur canopy)

Self guided Covered Bridge Tour

Self guided tours to Mt. Washington and surrounding areas

Tours of the Percival BMW collection (Saturday 9:00am-9:00pm and
Sunday
(9:00am-5:00pm) Everyone must leave from the mountain on the hour to
allow
Dave to show folks the collection.

Lunch available 11:30am-2:00pm at the Jordan Grand

Vendors on display throughout the day Saturday and Sunday

Luau! 6:00pm-9:00 please have reservations made at least two weeks
before
the meet. (Reservations can be made by calling Sunday River at
1-800-543-2SKI)

$5 from each plate goes to the National Marfan Foundation.

Live entertainment, motorcycle trivia and prize giveaways 8:00pm-?
(Also
drawing for the Saturday 50/50)

Sunday the 30th,

Western Maine European and British Motorcycle Show

11:00am-1:00pm

1:30pm- Sunday 50/50 drawing, awards for best in show and drawings
for all
sorts of great prizes. (Shoei donated a helmet last year and Greatbay
a cool
Triumph jacket. There will be more this year.

BBQ 11:30am-2:00pm

So that's about it. I hope to you this year as it's folks like you
that make
this event what it is.

Mike
