Was there ever a Bright Yellow S3? I don't mean like the puke Gold color of the 06' line up, I mean like old Daytona or Ducati Yellow.

I may be wrong, but I believe Puke Gold is the only yellowish color the S3 came with stock.

The amazing thing is that Triumph hasn't learned from their mistakes and produced Puke Gold (I really like that name) bikes two years running.

i heard they did it because they wanted to get a ballpark figure of how many people that rode their bikes had bad taste...

I was speaking to a Triumph factory rep and he said that they only make yellow or Puke Gold when they want a head count on how many Posers are buying the Speed Triple.

He thought that this was true of all manufactures.

Oh my f%#*ing god, that is funnier than monkey pee green (my 1972 chevrolet pickup).
In defense of the yellow S3's its still a ***** good looking bike, and I would take one if somebody needed theirs adopted. Don't get me wrong,.....I would not pay for it, but I would let it sleep in my garage,.........behind a wall,.......under a cover, so my girl's "soon to be yellow" SV wouldn't want to sleep with it. Assuming its a boy bike,...but to tell you the truth,.....two chick bikes goin' at seems kind of cool also.

Now hang on a second. I have had bright Yellow Corvettes, RX7's, and so on. Are you actually saying that a bright Yellow paint job makes a person a poser? I think it shows the owner likes to be different.

I have a Black Ducati, and lots of people like Black S3's, but I would take a bright Yellow S3 in a heartbeat.

Is a Yellow Ducati Monster an ugly bike? IMHO, no. Your mileage may vary..........

PS- I really like the White S3 too, does that make me an oddball?
