I dunno... I've been as far as two bars on my Speed Triple, but when Tekmoe said we oughta go to a third, I decided I'd head home an' leave the heavy drinkin' to him.

Tracker, what bar & risers do you have on there? I like them.

Setting aside the fact that this is total hooey, 1.6 bar is probably a bit much for a stock Speed Triple.

1 bar = 14.5 psi Therefore 1.6 bar = 23.2 psi.

A good reliable amount of boost for most more-or-less stock bikes is between 3 psi and 5 psi. I know some race only bikes running 12 psi or a little more. When you start doing this it's essential to lower the compression ratio to avoid pre-combustion. This is why most turbo kits come with a thicker head gasket.

23 psi boost is up there in diesel territory. Even with a compression ratio down in the 5/1 area you'd have to be running some pretty spectacular fuel to keep the thing from detonating. If it would run at all!

The risers are stock powder coated with some left over titanium fasteners from Probolt. The bars are just a pair i had sitting around in my junk pile ( which i powder coated
when i did the risers).
More details of the bars should be available from R100 and Tekmoe as they seem to be experts of such :lgh: activity!!!

Fine, I don't care if no one believes my boost gauge. just remember, when you get plastered by THE BLACK DEVIL, it will be me and I won't tell you the details
