as you all know, i had the TORs map installed last weekend. since then, i have noticed my bike takes longer to start when cold. before it wasn't too bad. now i have to hold the starter down for about 4 to 5 seconds before it fires up. sux.
Not a back to back comparison, but my first S3 started with only a second or two of cranking, the engine was totally stock. My second S3 with Trident 1/2 pipe and TORS tune takes 3-4 seconds cranking to start. I get a nice wiff of raw gasoline from the pipe so I don't think it is fueling. Usually a rich mix will fire up while too lean will definately cause cold starting problems. I suspect the spark timing is not optimum at cranking. Lots of people report this problem. Would be interesting to see the differences in the maps.
