Is it usuall to 05/06 S3 burn some oil?

My bike is almost new..Almost 3000 miles.
Today I remember to check the oil level and it was almost empty!

Not used any oil other than normal changes in almost 8000 miles. Are you screwing the oil dip stick alway in when testing the level.

Straddle the bike and have it standing straight up when you check it. You can reach down while holding it between your legs. Mine hasnt used a drop. (1,700 miles). Good luck.

The oil level was ok!

Is was a problem of low experience with the plastic oil dip stick!

Metal dipstick are nice...

But the plastic ones sucks...
Oil doesn't seem to glue on the plastic like on the metal..
