Anybody have a hard time removing those 2 screws for the rear fender under the seat. Very stubborn. Is there a fastner of nut holding them on the other side?

Uh... you're talkin' about the big ugly rear fender that hangs over the rear tire, or the boat tail?

My fender removal was made much easier when in a moment of utter BRILLIANCE, I decided to actually throw a flashlight on the subject and realized they were Torx screws, not Allen. Popped on the Torx and it was easy.

It took me 10 - the first five trying to turn an allen wrench in Torx screws. It takes a Real Man to admit something that stupid.

Some of those fasteners back there are removable plastic rivits, similar to the ones below:

These need to be removed when wanting to delete the spade under the light.

Near the front of the seat, you can access them through the two large holes in the seat fairing. In the rear, there are some you can access by removing the bolts and then pulling on the tail light/plastic assembly to remove it down off of some retaining clips (hard to explain over the internet).

Forgot to mention that needle nose pliers of an appropriate size will work to clamp the rivit and pop the plastic screw back up. Removable rivits sometimes aren't removable by only turning the screw in the visible side and you have to clamp the back.

I had no problem removing mine.............but putting them back in was the problem. I'm not talking about the fasteners but the long torque screws.
I stipped on putting it back in- hanging out by a half inch. Anyone now where to get a replacement? :hammer:
