Will these longer, forward-mounted frame sliders flip a speed triple?

They are used by the wheelie school, but I just read a post that made me think that the tires would bite and possibly flip the bike instead of protect the frame/case/etc. Thoughts?

If you're really worried about it you could always mount some castors on them..

I've never heard of a slider flipping a bike. I HAVE heard of people slamming their bike down hard on a slider and braking a frame mount (which totals the bike). Of course this was slamming down from a wheelie.

However, in most lowsides and highsides on the road they'll save you a lot of damage.

That's harsh, kuhlka, hopefully the bolts yield before the frame with the skyking sliders. I guess the wheelie school has been doing fine with them so far.

Time to go dump the bike a whole bunch doing wheelies!

Yeah man, the only person I know of who has managed to break a mount like that is Duker of RideTeamTriumph, but he does some pretty brutal stunting.
