Well I made it back in one piece! Had a great time and CB was a perfect host.
The whole experience was a real eye opener to how rusty I had become riding these straight Florida roads but I think I got back about 70% of where I thought I was skill wise.

Going to keep it brief for now, just a few pics.

Friday.
Got to King NC. in the am and checked into the Econ Lodge.

Econo Lodge.

From there went over to Cheaps place and got in a 100 mile intro to the following days adventure.

Cheaps house. Apparently he had a problem with his moonshine still the night before. :-D

We did some local twisties and even had a little drag race on the straight.( Promised CB I would not tell the outcome of that)

Saturday and Sunday
Started off well with CB paying homage to the dark side.

We did about 500+ miles of fun, from NC into Virginia. Think we visited every place that ended in gap, Tuggles, Fancy and one that had something to do with a squirrel, and many I forgot the names of.

we even got a visit from some guy who said his name was Tekmoe, he wanted to show us his new jacket and enjoy an adult beverage :-D

hey limey, why don't ya post that pic of that Harley that we seen Tekmoe on Sunday! He said it was his dad's, but limey was suspicious that he traded speedy in on it!

cheap, i'm considering a ride to NC before summer ends so i'll keep ya posted.

just did about 500 miles this weekend which is prep for a much longer journey. note, you said that's tekmoe having a cold one AFTER riding....come on now, we all know tek likes to drink BEFORE he rides.
