so i fianally got to try out my new(used) 05 s3 in the mountains. i went with a buell a 06 gsxr 750 and a gsxr 1000. when i met the gixxer 1000 for the first time he was just looking at it with no respect. he had that look of whats this guy doing riding with us with that. and mind you its been 5 years since ive been up to the mountains doing some twisties so i dont say any thing (normally would have talked trash but didnt know the bike well enough to talk with confidence yet) so i hung back inlast postion. Well half way into our run my confidence was way up and couldnt take it any more. so i pass the buell with ease then the 750 (total waste of a bike he didnt know how to ride at all and has been riding 3 years) then up to my buddie mister gixer 1000. so he see's me coming up fast so he steps up his game and starts haulin but in the end i stomped him and proceeded to put some distance from all of them. so when they all fiannally meet me and bottom the gixxer 1000 says his bike is running like sh*t and keeps stalling. Kind of funny huh when a guy beats you all the sudden your bike is running like *****. also funny how it had no problems when i was in back.
now dont get me wrong i know there are alot of faster riders out there that could easly stomp me but on this bike i feel malladin

Gotta love the guys who are stuck in that trackday mindset that just because their model is winning on the racetrack, it automatically means its the best bike hands down in all situations and it'll make them the superior rider.

even better when you dog a new Ferrari. I was at a light behind this temp tagged mid-life crisis dude. When the light turned green he took off- which I happily followed and came along side of him.........he had a big cheesey grin until I passed him.............while his wife appeared to be yelling at him- which made him slow down. Obviously if he kept on it he would have blew by me......but I think I hurt his ego- or was it his wife yelling in his ear?

I wonder if owning a sport bike in your 30s makes you immune to mid-life crisis sports car buying?

It's even more fun to show em your a$$ on an SV 650...of course it's a lot harder to reel you in on the straights on the S-3

Yup. Nothing like wasting a few posers in the twisties and again on the straighties.

No. Because you have a hemet on and no one can see your hairline and make fun of you and assume you're an insecure postal worker.

I beat the living sh!t out of a new G.T.O and a gsxr yesterday. I think I'm gonna start racing for booty. I win, I bone your girl the way the look in her eye tells me that you haven't been. Might be fun.

Yes it is funny when you real in and pass a track winning SS bike with about 50 more horsepower than your bike. My favorite excuse when we stop from the guy on the fast bike is "man, I'm just having a really off day today". It's funny because on several occations this same guy has used that excuse. Although when he rides by himself or with other less skilled riders he's "dragging knees, blistering tires, going faster than ever..." Cracks me up how there's always an excuse.
