Picking up a nice clean used 05 S3 tonight. I can't wait! I sold an 04 Aprilia RSVR Factory to buy the Triumph. I have never ridden an S3, but from what I hear I should like it. Let the mods begin!

Welcome! There's nothing I've ridden yet that puts the grin on my face that I get when I ride my S3.

You're part of the cult now!

Indeed I did! That was a nightmare I'd like to forget. I made the mistake of buying the Aprilia Factory (great bike, horrible dealer support) after the Multistrada and it required me to go to the same dealer as the Duc. Finally I'm free of them!

I got the S3 home and it seems I'm missing a couple of parts. The previous owner had installed the T-bar passenger grab handle and had the solo cowl too. When I got home I removed the handle and went to install the solo cowl but noticed the hardware is missing on one side of the seat! Also, it looks like maybe there is supposed to be some sort of trim piece for the back of the seat to fill in that gap when you arent using the solo cowl or the grab handle. Is that true? I'll have to check with the dealer on Tuesday.

So far so good. The bike feels incredibly smooth compared to the Aprilia and the gearbox is way smoother on the S3.
