Hey guys, any of you Queensland riders going to the Laverda concourse under the Story Bridge tomorrow?

Maybe a sherbert at the Story Bridge Hotel afterwards? I have to work later so I'll have to be on lemon squashes but, if it rains, I might be able to slide the rear on the way home[sorry tek].

For those of you not local, this is one of the best shows in Oz.
Lots of bikes from ducatis to trumps, enfields etc. Even funny things like 10 CBXs in a row.

Wish I could, but weekend kids sports, make it difficult to do much of anything.

AAAAAAAAAARGGGHHHHHHHH !!!!!

Why did I read this now. I've just spent the day at the show, had a great day and then come home and read this. What a great show it is. Some truly beautiful bikes, great atmosphere and saw a GPZ 750 Turbo "expire" on the Dyno... Never saw a single Speed Triple though, mine was at home too as I took my lad.
Oh, Story Bridge hotel is great too for lunch. I'll be back next year. ould have been nice to meet you AA...

1050, sorry I missed you but glad you made it.

There were at least 30 Trumpies 'hiding' in the bike car park across the road. Mainly Bonnies and Rockets. I didn't see any other Triples but I did meet a nice guy from the Sunshine coast who has two Daytonas, one of which he is Speed Triplising, and lots of others who went ohhh ahh.

There were lots of old Trumpies there, which always makes me happy. Probably showing my age but I remember seeing a Bonnie with an 18 ich front wheel and 15 inch rear and 6 inch oversize front forks when I was about 15 [1976] and thinking it looked fantastic. I still prefer to see mildly chopped Trumpies to Milwalki iron[sorrry it's late and there aint no spell check for that].

Sorry about my photos I'll try to edit them tomorrow.

Hope your boy had a great day.

PS. did you notice the rocket killed the Dyno HP with around 163.
A zx14 only managed 161HP
