what is the general consensus of upgrading the map after installing aftermarket exhausts?

i should probably just leave it alone because the bike runs great with the stock map. but "what if" i could squeeze a couple more HP out of it by upgrading to the tors map?

i've read good and bad stories. so i am unsure as to what to do.

does anyone else have the eagle mach exhaust with the tors map? how does it run compared to when it had the stock map?

tekky, I got the TOR map loaded with my single Eagle. Runs a bit rich, but other than that, no probs. Don't know how it would run with stock map because I had the TOR map loaded with my TOR cans.

The TORs and all other aftermarket mufflers are pretty much the same; straight through perforated pipes as opposed to the stockers where the gases do a few detours on the way.

So I would use the TOR map as a starting point for all aftermarket mufflers if no exhaust specific map was available.

Most cans also backfire like crazy with the stock map when you shut down the throttle. The TOR map cures this too.

Actually Cheap, it runs quite a bit lean with that setup... Assuming your TOR map was the same as mine when I dyno'ed it... I was running 20086...

got the tors map this morning. paid $20 for it.

the bike doesn't pop anymore on decelerating. can't really tell if it runs better but it is running GOOD.
