I heard that Turneboy can correct speedo error so I think it is possible for a map change to change speedo stuff :???:

Check your dsisplay units, you may be set to Kilometers Per Hour. The owners manual tells you how to change the units, but dang if I can find it now. i know 1 is metric, 2 is British and 3 is US.

Out of interest, what's the difference between 2 British and 3 US?

Yes, tell them your speedometer isn't reading right and they need to reflash the ECU with the map.
