Whats the best option for rear integrated light that will fit in conjunction with my T bar grab rail?

remember to look for an LED cluster that has additional, laterally aimed, LED's. The off-axis visibility on LED's sucks!

Do you know which ones are laterally aimed?

I got the intergrated taillight from www.customdynamics.com and it looks awesome but was a pain in the @$$ to install. I see that newspeed3.com has the whole tail light that you can basically plug in without cutting yout tail light apart like I had to. More $$$ but less hassle. Either way, they really clean up the back.

I installed a Clear Alternatives integrated unit last night. It was a cinch, took about 15 minutes. It really cleans up the a$$ end. I paid $90 delivered from ebay.

I bought all the parts from Custom Dynamics and built my own -

I detailed what I could of the process:
http://web.mac.com/aceackerman/

It would be pretty simple to modify this tail light to add some laterally mounted LEDs for side visiblity, but with the clear taillight, the LEDs light the entire plastic cover up so that isn't really necessary.

The whole thing cost around $140 with an electronic flasher.

Good luck!

You can get one from Clear Alternatives. It is complete sealed unit. Comes with resistors to slow the turnsignal flasher or you can let it flash fast or replace it with one designed for LEDs.

You can get the same thing for a little less on ebay.
