I'm heading up to CB's place in NC on Friday, return Sunday. Got room on the trailer for one maybe two more bikes if anyone is interested. The Econolodge in King NC is only $45. a night. this is the route I'm taking.

Figures. See that li'l star off to the left in the panhandle? Tha's me. And after two GLORIOUS weekends off, the band is cranking up again with Friday and Saturday night gigs, which means six-day weeks and no trips for me, or I'da taken off and met ya in Jacksonville.

Y'all kids have fun and be safe.

Trailer..?!?! Bikes were built for riding, not trailering..! Only bikes that should be trailered are off road bikes (dirt bike or race bike) and custom show bikes which are on the trailer in route to the next show.

In Limey's defense, how much fun can 750+ miles of straight freeway riding be? He's just reserving his energy for all of the back road riding we're gonna do Saturday! :-D

I could probably take a weekend off once in a blue moon, except our keyboard player wrecked his Speedmaster a couple o' weeks back, so we're already shorthanded. Turns out that while he didn't have any broken bones, he did tear some ligaments in addition to the burns (which he wouldn't have gotten if he hadn't been riding half nekkid). Over the next couple o' weeks he's havin' plastic surgery for the burns and he's gotta have reattachment surgery for his shoulder.

So he's gonna be out a while.

On the bright side, since there's only four of us but we get paid the same, there's more money for each! And since it's looking like his wife ain't gonna let him back on two wheels and he JUST got a bunch o' goodies, I might be able to pick up some Speedmaster stuff cheap. Mercenary? Sure. That's what friends are for.
