just came back from another excellent ride on my white 06 s3. the pilot tires on this thing really rock. i am able to do "stupid" cornering on this thing versus my sv650 that had d220's, which would get weird sometimes.

question though, i have the tires already worn past the edges on both sides, is it safe to ride the tire that low. or is time for knee pucks??? :-D

I think its time to get your ass off the seat and hang off the bike a little more in the turns. This makes the center of gravity lower in turns thereby leaning the bike less to turn sharper.

Proper Pilot Power technique on the Dragon.

Yep, hanging off will give the bike less lean for the same speed as not leaning or hanging off. I found down at the Gap that after perfecting my hanging off technique, I could go much faster and stay farther away from the edge of traction.

Yeah, I wore the Michelin Man and arrows off the first day I was down there. I found that hanging off the bike a bit actually seemed to make it handle better, especially during mid-turn corrections when you go, "OH $#!7 its getting tighter!" *pucker pucker* *dive in*!
