Im not sure there is one. But Id like to know also. I would also like to know how to read the coolant level. I know the tank is under the seat but I cant see anything in it and cant tell how to read it. The lines for "Full" hot and cold seem to be vertical instead of horizontal.
I just pulled out a bottom hose when I drained ny system.
Re the coolant tank, you'd see two vertical grooves, one slightly longer than the other. The coolant level should be between the long one & the short one.
General consensus seems to be not to overfill as otherwise bike will spew excess, and yes it is normal for the bike to run hot and fan coming on frequently.
I don't know about the '05+ models, but on my '01, the drain plug is a bolt going into the cylinder jacket on the lf side of the engine. It's kinda all by itself.
