Sorry to keep you boys waiting. Just got home. Went to Musicman's party! Graham knows what I'm talking about.
Anyway, Honestly at first I thought the bike was down on power. By the time I got near home it had loosened up a good bit though. I can tell that there's a beast inside that's just happy to oblidge aggressive throttle input. I believe in seating the rings hard by accelerating and decelerating for the first 50 miles or so and constantly changing gears during break-in. So, I'll be pushing a little harder today. I kept the bike around 5500-7000 using 4th,5th and 6th gears all the way home. I haven't pushed the bike to redline but I believe it is loosened up to the point to where I can ride it like I want within reason. Bike won't see redline until I make the first oil change.
Thoughts, It's fun and tracks superbly. It feels like a 600. My ass hurts because the seat is so sloped. Brakes are ok but I need to give them time to bed in.
Overall I think it's a keeper. I'll be piping it next week with a Zard and PCIII. Then the fun will begin.
Nice meeting you Dr_Gallup. I got caught in the same traffic on 24 east but once we hit 75 south I was home in two hours.
Now, I got to get some sleep cause I have a ride in 5.5 hours.
