Are the TORS slip ons? And are the ones on the Triumph site that you can order as an accessory under exhaust? If so how do they go about re-mapping the computer?

I'm replacing them with oldsquids system, soon as it gets here they are on the market. let y'all know.

regarding the TORS installation, are there any gotchas or difficulties? It looks like there's a bolt holding the can to the frame, the clamp, and two bolts for the heat shield.

I ask because the dealership quoted 1 or 2 hours for the install, but it looks as if even the mechanically-challenged could do it in an hour (including the time to get a beer from the fridge). Am I missing something? Are they a pain to get aligned properly?

dude, do it yourself! took me about 20 minutes, and that was including cleaning them!

I wonder how much the dealer would charge for the map if you buy the cans elsewhere and install yourself...
