I entered the freeway and dropped in behind a GSX R600 that was doing a steady 81 mph. I followed him for about 3/4 mile at 4-5 bike lengths and then pulled him over when it was safe. We were in the far left of 5 lanes. Speed limit 55. The brothers excuse was "I'm sorry Sir, I am on my way to my second eye surgery."
UNREAL :yayyy: :wow:

News flash!
GSX R600 caught doing 81 MPH in a 55! Shocker!
Local squid displays lack of brain cells. Police officer busts moron, but fails to enforce the Darwin code. Squid's testicles are still intact.
Next time, cut them off so he can never breed.

Hrm, I guess I doesn't much matter, his bike will be stolen sometime this week. I was shocked to learn about the insanely high rate of bike thefts in Honolulu. I mean, where are they taking them all? Must be scratching off the VINs and shipping them somewhere.
At any rate, I got to ride around Oahu a bunch last November when I was there. That place is so beautiful I really felt like I didn't want to speed, cause I'd miss some scenery.
Good job though, just keep busting those kids on GSXRs and leave us poor old coots on Triumph's alone.

As a fellow biker you should have either
a) let him off
b) had a chat and then let him off
c) Ridden on by.
That would have left you free to concentrate on real crime. "doing a steady 81", only a cop would say that anyone else would say 80.

So true... Go catch a bad guy; or a woman driving while chatting on her cell phone, about to take a blind left hand turn into my lane. :hammer:

As a fellow biker, I do cut violating motorcycles a lot of slack quite often. If he would have seen me and slowed down or got out of the fast lane, I would have ridden on by. Once all the other traffic backs off to see what I am going to do, I am obliged to at least pull the violator over. Tax payers pay good money to see that!
If a motorcyclyst is pulled over for speeding and has all his paperwork, I quite often just have a chat with them and let them go. When people are going 80 on my beat in prime time(12:30pm), and they get caught, I have no problems issuing a citation. Especially if they do not have their papers up to date. If I was running illegal, I surely would not draw undue attention. Duh.
When I blast my S3 I make sure not to get caught.
Sir Kuhlka, should I change the name to POPO? :hihi:
