LOL means Laughing out loud. He added it to indicate that the statement he made before it was "tongue in cheek". At least that is what I'm assuming he was indicating, since the statement was directed at me. If it wasn't tongue in cheek, I might have to go over there and beat the living sh!t out of his sorry carcass. LOL

Here in the UK we don't tend to wave, we kind of nod at each other, keeping both hands on the bars. I nod at just about everyone, including scooters and most nod back, but not all. I used to take it personal if I was ignored, but now I don't give a toss
