With a Zard fitted the stock footrest hangers look like flappin' dumbo ears.

Removing the rear hangers is NOT an option.

The distance between the bolt centres on the S3 is 70mm, and hangers from a Honda 'Blade of around 98 vintage fit ok. and look neat also. Problem is the footrests are too far forward and passenger toes and my heels meet frequently.

Suzuki Gixxer 03/04 hangers seem a probable candidate with the right shape. Anyone with a Gixxer care to measure the bolt centres of the hanger?

Or if anyone has changed his rear hangers what bike were they from?

Let us know what you find out. I'd like to keep mine for frame protection. Was thinking about trying to fit a slider into the old can mount hole.

The hangers are stupid. Lose 'em.

Sliders are a good idea, though. I'm thinking about doing that myself. If anyone has a set rigged up, I'd like to see it.
