I noticed on Tuneboys website, the tunes list have air injection and catalyst on some. How do you know if you have this or not? Is this a California thing?

Thanks for the help :???:

If you have a USA bike then you bet your bottom dollar you have the catalysts and Sec Air Injection. CA chaps also get an extra canister of some sorts.........

Look at the top of your motor. If you have a hose coming off each cylinder then you have a secondary air injection system. The solenoid for the system should be in the air box. The cali carbon canister is a forearm-sized cylinder which hangs on the backside of the motor under the fuel injection rail (under the fuel pump part of the tank).

The Non-SAI maps essentially tell the ECU the bike doesn't have those bits and it ignores the solenoids. I went the extra step and stripped my bike of those bits to shave a little weight and give more room for cable tidying. Makes it a bit easier to remove the airbox with all those hoses gone too.
