Alright gang, the cheapster and Golfinc teamed up on our local bike night tonight! The only 2 Triumph's I saw there, and they were both speedy's! Anyways, had a great night except for the freak'n down pour for about 15-20 mins. Took a few pics and here's one to get you guys off to a great start. More to follow tomorrow! :-D

I'm usually the only Triumph (TBird) at our local bike night. I go for kicks occasionally but it's 99% v-twin cruisers and their helmetless riders and teenagers on their japanese sportbikes. We did have some excitement two weeks ago however. A guy on his R1 was attempting the "plank ride" (slow, balancing ride) and freaked out and crashed into me and about 5 others. One lady had to go off with the paramedics. Plus, it resulted in a bike domino drop just like in the movies. Whoo-hoo!

dang dude, that doesn't sound like too great of a bike night! Hope no one was injured badly. And hope the kid on the R1 had good insurance or deep pockets! :hammer:

But now as for our local bike night, like I said, it was a blast. Don't know how many of you guys know of Kendall Johnson, but he's a huge custom bike builder here in the area, but he's known nationwide. Well, our bike night is at a local wings place that happens to be right next door to Kendall's place. So he always has some of his cool stuff out and about. Just to show ya a few, here's some pics of some of his scoots, this 1st one I believe cost somewhere around $85,000!!! I apologize for the quality of the pics(especially the $ bike, it was inside, so it was kinda dark), the cheapster really needs a new camera!

I really wished I had a better pic of this bike, it was unbelievable! The license plate popped out of the side with a flick of a swith. It was air operated.

A couple of more of Kendall's bad ass customs. I really liked the bike closest to me, it's close to being scorched yeller! :-D

A couple of Kendall's drag bikes(they don't want none of a yeller speedy!!!) :lgh:

another one of Kendall's piece of work...

Find the speedy's in the pic!!!

nice look'n ZRX1100 out there...

a little taste of some of the custom bikes sitt'n in the parking lot. I'd almost bet that a 1/3 of the bikes out there were customs. Well, maybe not quite that much, but there were alot!

And it's not only bikes that ya see out there. I'm not sure if this truck was Kendall's or not, but if I had to bet, I'd bet it was his. I'm not sure, but I think this is what they call a 'mini-truck'??? :-D

and another pic, and check out the copper color car in the background, story on that for the next pic...

and as for the car, it's a freak'n mid 90's Caprice(I think that's what it started life as) that has been chopped all up with a 56 Chevy rear end and front end. This car is bad ass!!! I wished I had more pics of it, she's a real beauty!

and... that about sums it up for our bike night last night. I did pull one small wheelie leaving Ted's kick'n chick'n, but it sucked ass, the road was pretty soaked! :hammer: As for Golfinc, he's a cool cat, couldn't meet a nicer guy. Hope to meet some more of you fools one day, well, maybe not Tracker or Limey! :-D

Wow - looks like a great hangout (mmm... wings!) The choppers are nice, but I like the Kawi and the Speed Triples better. I've said it before - after a while, all the choppers just sorta blend into a blob, no matter how nice they are. Dare to be different!

The Caprice rocks!

Great pics, CB. You're lucky to have interesting customs like that to see (being next to Kendall's shop). The bike night near me is usually 99% stockers with added chrome. 80% cruisers, 17% japanese racers, 3% euro racers.

Thanks.
