Actually I am rooting for Ecuador, both of my parents are from there, and I have been many times.

Being an irrational gambler, I picked England in my workplace world cup pool (I couldn't bear the idea of picking Brazil or Germany). Too many injured or recovering players though. I am not confident. At least the bookmakers think they have a better chance than Ecuador.

Nice one Pomme.

My cousin has been in Os for 20 years and has switched to the Socceroos... Me too if the boys from Quito turn us over this weekend.

Who knows with our boys? All have the ability to do the biz but dont seam to give a shiit when in the 3 Lions shirt.

"Footballs coming home" maybe

My dream is either England V Argentina with England winning with a "hand of a God" goal scored by Mr Rooney or England V Brazil with Wayne getting 3 after England trail 2-0....Dream on big boyyyyyy

England has a great chance if they shorten the second half by 20 minutes.

Go the Socceroos!!

Absolutely. And I might even watch a match if England gets to the finals.

England stuttered and stuttered and scored then held on. Not the most acomplished play, but they are getting there slowly. Tonight it Portugal v Holland. I guess i've plumbed for Holland. If we go on its probabaly Brazil afterwards !!!!!

Go Portugal!!!! :yayyy:

Well...
With so many Portuguese players injured or punished with cards, Portugal will be a very easy task for England...
