Something to think about next time you or one of your buddies is having an "off" day of riding.

This is from one of our locals. He is OK.

Pass it on

Glad he is okay and didn't go the other way over the railing. It looks like it would have been a pretty far drop.

Otherwise, it looks like a great ridiing road.

I'm not sure if it was truly an off day. He seemed to be spending a lot of time worrying and looking about to see where the camera bike was to be concentrating on what he was doing. He also crossed the yellows a few times, plus had his head over them occasionally on the left hand curves, not a great thing unless you can really see oncoming traffic.

IMHO - Race lines are no good for a road like that.

Glad he's OK though, and it wasn't too bad a crash.

Mick

I don't recognize that road. Is it somewhere up the Gorge? Or in Eastern Oregon?

Looks like a fun ride, but Miker's observations are pretty close to truth. Glad he's okay.

Ditto on his luck. I'm sure that messed him up bad and he is lucky, that would be a long drop.

He certainly looked out of sync. From his speed and the road you really couldn't see that coming. From his previous riding, however, it wasn't completely unexpected. He seemed distracted.

I wonder if these guys had stopped for a break between the first part of the video and the end. If I were riding behind him, I know I would definitely have mentioned that he wasn't riding his best that day.

I'm glad he's ok. It looks like it could have turned out much worse.

That was a fantastic road.

Not to insult but that dude was all over the place...

If it was "an off day" he should have stopped at the first corner... I'm with crash and the others... he was too worried about the camera bike (or something) and NOT paying attention. If I were riding like that at anytime, I'd expect a serious thump to the head...

Stupid is, as stupid does. Glad he's ok though.... Never a good thing to see that another rider has gone down in a moment of HUAS...

Almost... Head up ass SYNDROME... common in squid types and occasionally effecting those on colors other than black... extremely rare in black owners...

The guy in front of him looked to be running pretty good and was leaving him in the dust. He must not have been worried about the camera, should have been filming him maybe. Glad to hear he is o.k. none the less........
