Just watching that cruiser show after two-wheel Tuesday and saw there is a show called 'Super Bikes' that is supposed to start next week Tuesday at 9pm. The short preview showed mainly streetfighters and some stunting with a few well known stunters (jason Britton, etc). Hopefully it isnt about stunting but it did look promising and a nice change from what speed channel usually puts out.

Sounds like an interesting show. I'm hoping it turns out to be good, as I really haven't watched SC in ages.

I saw the ad. I keep trying to watch Speedvision but all the NASCAR ***** ticks me off...especially on 2wheel tuesday!

Anyone else notice that the cartoon bike graphic on the intro to Sin Cities on Showcase is an S3?

My wish is for the Discovery Channel to do something similar to American Chopper. Call it British Streetfighter and start off with sweary Bob at Spondon. Now THAT would be interesting.

We'll see how it goes. Unfortunately it brings the end to TWT (hosted by Greg White). This was the one show I made sure I caught on Speed Channel. Nothing else on TV covers the wide range that TWT did. I hope it makes it's way back some day.

I usually record all three hours and watch it later so I can fast-forward through the commercials.

TWT was must-see and it'll be missed.

I think a show about squids is gonna do more harm than good. Sorta a two-wheeled Jackass. Let the lawsuits begin.

the new show looks interesting and all, it will be something to watch (already gave it the season pass on the DVR) but I have been watching TWT since 2004 when my cable package added SpeedChannel and I love the show and how Greg keeps adding to the sport of motorcycling. He really deserves an award for what he does for the sport of motorcycling.
I loved the message he sent to Ben Roethlisberger, he said when you get out of the hospital contact me and i will send you a brand new Aria.... don't stop riding, just start riding safe. Love that!
Losing TWT is not worth gaining Squid bike weekly or whatever it is.

my 2 cents.

I didnt pay close enough attention; I thought all the memories and reflection I saw on TWT was just a celebration of 3-1/5 year on the air, I though it was weird that anyone celebrates a 3-1/2 year anniversary but I didnt pay close enough attention to realizing that it was going off the air. I caught it 10-mins late and otherwise just let my Tivo record it and I fast forward through the commercials and the motorcross racing that seemed to be it's mainstay. Guess I had my finger on the FFW button too much. Any hope that they cancelled that v-twin show?? probably not...

I'll give this new show the benefit of the doubt but I do hope they dont focus too heavily on stunting, that will be rather 'squiddy'. I hope they make it a well rounded show and as I understand if they focus strictly on racing and racebikes they will soon run out of engaging material, that will not be a sensible route either. I'm curious to see what they do..

Who saw that discovery channel show some months agao with 'Charles LeDuff' (sp?) when he hung with that group of guys that were kind of social misfits in their everyday environment but found and began hanging out with each other and then formed a bike club, I think it was called "only in America" or something close to that. If they can focus on telling stories along with highlighting the bikes like that did I think it'll be okay.
